abstract | PURPOSE:To obtain a stopwatch where the pace of a racer is grasped easily and can be fed back to the racer momently, by obtaining and displaying not only a section time in each section but also a difference between individual section times. CONSTITUTION:If the preceding section time is selected, a control command is sent from a key control processing part 6 to a selecting circuit 11 to instruct the circuit 11 to select a section time memory 9a. But, since data is not written in the section time memory 9a at this time, ''0'' is loaded to an adding/subtracting circuit 5. When a start/stop key is operated in this state, an operation command is sent from the key control processing part 6 to a section time measuring counter 3 and an integral time measuring counter 4, and these counters 3 and 4 start the time counting operation by a signal of 100Hz. Simultaneously, the operation command is sent from the key control processing part 6 to the adding/subtracting circuit 5. Since loaded data is ''0'' in the adding/subtracting circuit 5 at this time, the circuit 5 starts the counting-up operation by the signal of 100Hz. The section time of the preceding section can be selected by the selecting circuit 11 and is compared with the measured time of the current section to display a difference on the second display part 8b. |
