titleOfInvention Calcium phosphate fiber
abstract PURPOSE: To provide the titled fiber having high compatibility with the living body and osteogenetic capability, consisting of calcium phosphate having a specific composition and negative zeta potential, and suitable as a filler for filling the defect or cavity of the bone. n CONSTITUTION: A calcium phosphate having negative zeta potential (preferably -0.2W-10.0mV), a molar ratio of Ca/P of 0.2W0.6 and CaO+P 2 O 5 content of ≥80wt% is formed to a filament e.g. by melt spinning to obtain the objective fiber. n USE: Useful also as a water-treating agent. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio
