abstract | PURPOSE: To increase the activity of the titled agent by adding a saponin component to adrenocortical hormone and adrenocortical hormone agent. n CONSTITUTION: The activity of adrenocortical hormone and adrenocortical hormone agent can be increased by adding a saponin component to an adrenocortical hormone (hormone produced in the adrenal cortex and increted to the blood in the suprarenal vein, e.g. cortisone, corticosterone, aldosterone, etc.) and an adrenocortical hormone agent (e.g. prednisolone, methylprednisolone, triamcinolone, dexamethasone, etc.). The saponin component can be extracted from crops such as Panax ginseng, adzuki beans soybeans, Gynostemma pentaphyllum, etc. n EFFECT: The amount of the hormone agent, etc. can be reduced by the use of the harmless and safe assistant free of side effect.
