abstract | NEW MATERIAL:A 1,3-dithiol-2-ylidene derivative expressed by formula I (Z is substituted or unsubstituted ethylene or trimethylene). n EXAMPLE: 2-(1,3-Dithiol-2-ylidene)cyclopentane-1,3-dione. n USE: Having remarkable inhibitory effect on hepatic disorder, useful as a preventing and treating agent for various hepatic diseases, and administered in 0.1W 25mg/day per kg body weight for oral administration and 0.01W100mg/day per kg body weight for parenteral administration. n PREPARATION: A β-diketone expressed by formula II, e.g. cyclopentane-1,3-dione, is reacted with a dithiolium salt expressed by formula III (R is lower alkyl or benzyl; X is anion residue) in the presence of a base preferably in a solvent, e.g. tetrahydrofuran, to afford the aimed compound expressed by formula I . n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio |
