abstract PURPOSE: An insecticidal treatment agent for preventing change in color of wood, obtained by blending boric acid with a specific amount of anitrogen-containing base so that concentration of hydrogen ion is kept at a specific value safely and stably and change in color of wood is prevented by the insecticidal treatment agent. n CONSTITUTION: An insecticidal treatment agent for preventing change in color of wood containing boric acid and <0.1mol nitrogen-containing base such as ammonia, alkylamine, hydroxyamine, alkanolamine, polyfunctional amine, cyclic amine, etc., having preferably ≤about 150mol.wt., and 6.0W8.0 concentration of hydrogen ion. The agent can keep pH of insecticidal treatment solution in the range stably and easily without adding hydrochloric acid or sulfuric acid which has strong toxicity and irritation to the human body and problems with respect to operation, environment, and safety to it, and can prevent change in color of wood by the insecticidal treatment agent. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio
