titleOfInvention | Pigment mixture which is microscopically mixed and production thereof |
abstract | PURPOSE: To produce efficiently the titled pigment mixture, by adding a specified compd. to an aq. suspension of a pigment mixture, capturing the pigment mixture in the resulting dehydrated gel, and conducting dehydration, drying and crushing. n CONSTITUTION: A compd. [e.g. Al 2 (SO 4 ) 3 .18H 2 O] capable of forming a hydroxide (or partially dehydrate thereof) of group II, III or IV metal is used. A pigment mixture (e.g. titanium oxide base mixture or talc base mixture) is suspended in water. An aq. soln. of said compd. is added to the suspension, and the pH of the mixture is adjusted to capture the pigment mixture in the resulting dehydrated gel of the compd. The formed precipitate is recovered by filtration, washed with water, dried and crushed to obtain a pigment mixture which is microscopically mixed. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio |
