titleOfInvention Dna and its use
abstract PURPOSE: DNA having a large accumulation amount of guanosine, obtained by cultivating a bacterium belonging to the genus Bacillus, capable of producing specific guanosine. n CONSTITUTION: A bacterium belonging to the genus Bacillus, capable of producing guanosine, transformed with a vector integrated with a 5'-dehydrogenase genetic range obtained from chromosome DNA of a bacterium [e.g., Bacillus subtilis NA-6011(IFO 14189, FERMBP-291)] belonging to the genus Bacillus, capable of producing guanosine and/or xanthosine, is inoculated into a medium containing a carbon source, nitrogen source, metallic ion, and, if necessary, a nutritive source, cultivated aerobically at 4W9pH at 20W45°C for 24W144hr, guanosine is formed and accumulated in the culture, to give DNA having 5'-inosine dehydrogenase gene, and scission point of Hind III at 2.9 kilo base pair distance. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio
