| abstract | PURPOSE:To enhance the accuracy and stability of supply in a fixed amount supply device for synthetic resin pellets, etc., by selecting the material of a cylinder innermost member so that the polarities of charged static electricity due to frictions among a substance to be conveyed, an conveying ribbon and the cylinder innermost member are reversed from each other. CONSTITUTION:The material of the innermost member 3b of a cylinder 3 is selected so that the polarity of static electricity due to friction between the innermost member 3b and a substance to be conveyed is reversed from the polarity of static electricity charged due to friction between a conveying ribbon 7 and the substance. For example, in the case of polyester pellets as a substance to be conveyed, vinyl chloride is used for the innermost member 3b. With this arrangement the charged polarity between the pellets to be conveyed and the ribbon 7 and the charged polarity between the same and the inner most member 3b are cancelled together so that the amount of charged electricity of the pellets may be made small. Accordingly, the pellets are stably fed in a fixed amount with a high degree of accuracy. |
