abstract | PURPOSE: An industrial antifungal agent, obtained by incorporating methyl 2-benzimidazolecarbamate with a specific tin compound, and capable of exhibiting improved growth retarding effect on various molds by the synergistic effect even in a small amount of the chemical. n CONSTITUTION: A mildewicide obtained by incorporating (A) methyl 2-benzimidazolecarbamate with (B) a trialkyltin compound, particularly preferably a tributyltin compound and/or triphenyltin compound as active constituents at 1:0.1W1, preferably 1:0.2W0.6wt. ratio between the components (A) and (B). Preferably, the active constituents are contained in 1W30wt%, preferably 10W30wt% in the pharmaceutical, and 1W30wt%, based on water, solvent and surfactant are preferably added thereto for use as an aqueous solution or emulsion. The agent is effective for molds of the genuses Rhizopus and Chaetomium, for which the simple constituent (A) exhibits no drug effect, and useful for wood, coating materials, etc. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio |
