PURPOSE: To obtain the titled compound in high efficiency, by adding o-nitroaniline to the reaction system in the reaction of a mixture of carbon monoxide and hydrogen in liquid phase in the presence of a ruthenium compound catalyst. n CONSTITUTION: The objective compound can be produced by reacting a mixture of carbon monoxide and hydrogen in liquid phase at 100W450°C, preferably 200W 350°C, in the presence of a ruthenium compound catalyst adding substituted or unsubstituted o-nitroaniline to the system. Preferable concrete examples of the o-nitroaniline compound are o-nitroaniline, 2-nitro-m-toluidine, etc., and the amount of the aniline compound is 1/1,000W10,000/1, preferably 1/100W1,000/1 in terms of the ratio of the molar number of the o-nitroaniline to the g-atom number of ruthenium in the ruthenium compound. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio |
