titleOfInvention | Preparation of imide prepolymer |
abstract | PURPOSE: The titled prepolymer useful as varnish for impregnation, providing a copper-clad laminate having improved heat resistance, soluble in a widely usable low-boiling organic solvent, by reacting a bisimide with a diamine in a low-boiling organic solvent under heating. n CONSTITUTION: (A) A bisimide (e.g., N',N'-m-phenylenebismaleimide, etc.) shown by the formula I (R 1 is bifunctional organic group containing C=C; R 2 is ≥2C bifunctional organic group) is reacted with (B) a diamine (e.g., 4,4'-diamicodicyclohexylmethane, etc.) shown by the formula II(R 3 is R 2 ) in (C) an organic solvent (preferably 2-methoxy ethanol, etc.) having 80W100°C boiling point (760 mmHg) under heating, to give the desired prepolymer. n EFFECT: Having improved workability in succeeding process. Having no bad influence on the prepared laminate caused by remaining solvent. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio |
