titleOfInvention | Tread rubber composition |
abstract | PURPOSE: To provide a rubber composition for tire tread, having excellent driving performance on snow and frozen road without lowering the braking property on a wet road surface, by compounding a rubber with alumina having specific particle size. n CONSTITUTION: The objective rubber composition for tire tread can be produced by compounding 100pts.wt. of a natural rubber and/or synthetic diene rubber with 5W45pts.wt., preferably 10W30pts.wt. of alumina having an average particle diameter of 0.01W0.5mm, preferably 0.05W0.3mm, and kneading the mixture with a roll, a Banbury mixer, a kneader, etc. The frictional coefficient to ice can be increased without affecting the low-temperature JIS hardness, peak temperature of tanδ, and tanδ near 0°C, and the tread made of the present composition exhibits high driving performance on frozen road as well as ordinary wet road. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio |
