abstract | PURPOSE: The titled composition, consisting of an organic solvent containing an inorganic indium salt, inorganic tin salt and nonaqueous silica sol, and capable of forming a transparent electrically conductive film only by firing a desired pattern printed on a substrate without requiring an etching step. n CONSTITUTION: (A) About 0.5W30wt%, expressed in terms of indium oxide, inorganic indium salt, e.g. indium chloride, indium nitrate, etc., (B) about 0.5W30wt% Sn in weight ratio, based on In, inorganic tin salt, e.g. stannic chloride, and (C) about 1W 200wt% silicic acid based on the indium oxide, nonaqueous silica sol are contained in an organic solvent, e.g. acetone or tetrahydrofuran. A solution of silicic acid in an organic solvent obtained by neutralizing an aqueous solution of sodium silicate, and extracting the solution with the organic solvent and a salting out agent is preferably used as the above-mentioned silica sol. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio |
