titleOfInvention | Preparation of heat insulating cover and mold for forming the same |
abstract | PURPOSE: To enable adaptation to multiple-kind and small quantity production, by injecting a foam forming stock material into the inner surface side of a skin material and contacting the outer surface of the skin material with a heating or cooling medium. n CONSTITUTION: A skin material 3 is convered with an upper mold 10 after received a foam forming stock material 2a. Thereafter, a heating medium 12 such as hot water is poured in a lower mold 6 from an inflow port 6b by operating a pressure tank 7 and valves 8, 9. The heating medium 12 flowed into the lower mold 6 is directly contacted with the outer surface of the skin material 3 in the opening parts 6a thereof, and the skin material 3 and the foam forming stock material 2a present inside the skin material 3 are heated to a predetermined temp. while the pressure in the lower mold 6 is made same to the foaming pressure inside the skin material 3 to prevent the deformation of the skin material 3 and good foaming reaction of the foam forming stock material 2a is promoted to form a foam. By this method, a heat insulating cover, wherein the foam 2 is integrated with the skin material, is formed. Because the lower mold may be a common one, multiple-kind and small quantity production is adapted in the same line. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio |
