titleOfInvention Analysis of eutectic quantity of composite material in composite plated cover
abstract PURPOSE:To measure the eutectic quantity of composite material handily and quickly at a high accuracy using a calibration curve previously obtained by a method wherein a plated layer obtaind by compounding inorganic fine particles on a metal ground is peeled off with a peeling liquid to measure the quantity of light transmitted with a liquid containing the peeled matters (sample liquid) and a filter liquid thereof (control liquid). CONSTITUTION:A test piece 1 having a plated layer 3 obtained by compounding inorganic fine particles such as boron nitride and Ni on an iron ground 2 is emmersed into a liquid 4 with a peeling liquid 21 containing NaCn filtered to peel off the compound plated layer 3. This liquid 5 containing the peeled matters (sample liquid) is placed into a cell 6b while a filter liquid (control liquid) 5a made by filtering the sample liquid into a cell 6a and quantity of light transmitted with the liquids is measured with a quantity of light measuring device 7. The device 7 calculates and recordes the euctectic quantity of composite material in a test piece from the control liquid and the sample previously determined from a known sample using an eutectic quantity calibration curve of boron nitride. In the case of a compound plate on brass, for example, other than iron ground, a test piece of a compound plate on the iron ground is used together with a brass piece to enable a highly accurate measurement.
