abstract | NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I [R is H or OH] and its salt. n EXAMPLE: 14-De(hydroxymethyl)-O-mycaminosyl tylonolide. n USE: Antibacterial agent for Gram-positive bacteria having extremely strong antibacterial activity compared with known tylosin. It is effective even to resistant bacteria and Gramnegative bacteria, and is useful also as a remedy for infectious diseases of animals and as a feed additive.
