titleOfInvention Shock absorber rubber and manufacturing method
abstract PURPOSE:To increase the strength and improve the shock absorbing effect of a shock absorbor rubber by putting in a foamed urethane rubber within the shock absorbor rubber and by molding them together in a block to a condition where the foamed urethane rubber is covered with the reinformcement material on both end surfaces and peripheral side surface. CONSTITUTION:A shock absorber rubber 1 consists of a foamed urethane rubber 5 and a not-foamed solid urethane rubber 6. These components are molded in a body with the foamed urethane rubber 5 putting in within the mold body and with the foamed urethane rubber 5 covered with the solid urethane rubber 6 at both end surface 1a, 1b and the outer periphery 1c. By this construction the shock absorber rubber 1 permits large deformation, improves the shock absorbing effects, increases the strength against shock, and is hardly damaged.
