PURPOSE: To provide a photo-stabilized composition of ubidecarenone useful for mitigating the symptoms of congestion and stenocardia caused by the lowering of the cardiac function, by compounding ubidecarenone with tocopherol and/or phytonadione. n CONSTITUTION: Ubidecarenone is a substance positioning in the electron transfer system of the myocardial mitochondria and effective to mitigate the congestion and stenocardia caused by the lowering of the cardiac function in the case of chronic hypertension, ischemic cardiopathy, valvular diseases, etc., however, it is unstable to light. It has been found that a ubidecarenone-containing composition stable to light can be obtained by compounding the compound with tocopherol or phytonadione. The amount of the tocopherol, etc. is preferably 2W40mol per 1mol of ubidecarenone.
