titleOfInvention Salad oil containing palm oil and production thereof
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a salad oil, containing much palm oil fraction, satisfying the Japanese Agricultural Standards as a compound salad oil, and having improved flavor and oxidative stability. n CONSTITUTION: A vegetable liquid oil, e.g. soybean oil, is incorporated with a low-melting point part of a palm oil having ≥55, preferably ≥60 iodine value to give ≥70wt%, preferably 85W95wt% measured value of liquid oil content by pulse NMR method after 24hr at 5°C. The resultant mixture is then cooled to a further low temperature to crystallize unmelting glyceride having a medium melting point. The resultant solid and liquid parts are then fractionated to afford a salad oil containing 20W50wt% palm oil fraction. The above-mentioned fractionation is preferably carried out at 0W10°C final temperature. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio
