abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a weldable hot-melt rust preventive agent composition without a problem of fire danger nor hygiene to human bodies having improved rust preventing ability, spot welding, adhesion, physical strength, water resistance and moisture resistance of films. CONSTITUTION:A weldable hot-melt rust preventive agent composition obtained by incorporating (A) 10-90pts.wt., preferably 20-70pts.wt. mixture consisting of 20-80pts.wt. at least one of oxidized petrolatum, oxidized wax, metallic salts or esters thereof and metallic salts of lanolin and sulfonic acids (the metal in the metallic salts is preferably an alkali metal or alkaline earth metal) and 20-80pts.wt. at least one of the petrolatum, lanoline and wax with (B) 10- 90pts.wt. at least one of PE, PP, ethylene-acrylic acid copolymer under melting and heating, and dispersing and mixing (C) 10-300pts.wt., preferably 30- 250pts.wt., based on 100pts.wt. total of the components (A) and (B), electrically conductive filler, e.g. carbon black, having <=30OMEGA.cm volume resistivity with the resultant mixture.
