titleOfInvention | Production of straight-chain unsaturated compound having functional group at both ends |
abstract | PURPOSE: To produce a straight-chain unsaturated compound having aldehyde groups at both terminals and useful as perfume, etc., in high efficiency, by partially ozonizing a cyclic trimer of butadiene, and reducively decomposing the obtained ozonide, thereby uniformly and selectively proceeding the reaction. n CONSTITUTION: Cyclodecartriene which is a cyclic trimer of butadiene produced from butadiene in high efficiency using a Ziegler catalyst, is ozonized partially (i.e. adding an ozone molecule selectively to one of the trans-double bonds, and then adding ozone molecules to easch cis- and trans-double bond at equal ratio), and the obtained ozonide is subjected to the reducive decomposition keeping the steric structure of the C-C double bond to obtain the objective straight-chain unsaturated compound having aldehyde groups at both terminals. n USE: Raw material of perfume and pesticides, intermediate of pharmaceuticals, base of cosmetics, etc. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio |
