titleOfInvention | Antiseptic and mildewcide for storage of cultural assets |
abstract | PURPOSE: The titled antiseptic and mildewcide showing improved effect on control of microorganism developing in cultural assets in a humid environment, comprising a lower alkylamine, etc. to vaporize at low temperature as an active ingredient, which is vaporized in use. n CONSTITUTION: The titled antiseptic and mildewcide comprising a lower alkylamine or lower alkenylamine shown by the formula (R is H, lower alkyl, or lower alkenyl), such as methylamine, dimethylamine, triethylamine, allylamine, etc. as an active ingredient. The active ingredient is prepared into emulsion, wettable powder, fumigating agent, etc., or a stock solution is used directly as it is, it shows improved effect especially by vaporization, the stock solution is directly put in a flat container or diluted with an organic solvent, etc., put in the container, and allowed to stand. This method is effective in case of an amine having high vapor pressure, and carried out effectively in a hermetically sealed condition. It is expected to have wide application as a conditioner of storage environment when damage by mildew occurring in humid environment is controlled. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio |
