titleOfInvention Composition for resin having high refractive index
abstract PURPOSE: To provide the titled composition capable of giving a molded article having excellent high-speed moldability, surface hardness, solvent resistance, etc., by compounding a specific polymerizable composition containing (meth)acrylate, etc. having naphthyl skeleton with a bisphenol A epoxy resin having high molecular weight. n CONSTITUTION: The objective composition is produced by compounding (A) 100pts.wt. of a polymerizable composition composed of (i) 30W95(wt)% monomer of formula I , (ii) 0W70% monomer of formula II and (iii) 5W30% monomer of formula III having a refractive index of ≥1.450 (R 1 , R 3 and R 5 are H or CH 3 ; R 2 and R 4 are -CH 2 CH 2 O-, or group of formula IV or formula V; R 6 is saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group having an atomic valence of q and optionally containing ether, ester, etc.; m and n are 1W3; p is 0W4; q is 2W6) with (B) 0.1W 3.5pts.wt. of a high molecular weight resin of formula VI (r is 9W12) having a softening point of 120W160°C measured by the Durran's mercury method, and obtained by the condensation of bisphenol A and epihalohydrin. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio
