titleOfInvention Silver (ii) oxide cell
abstract PURPOSE:To suppress the internal short-circuit by filling a sulfuric acid radical in a cell storing a positive electrode black mix containing silver (II) oxide as a positive electrode main active material and lead dioxide as a conductive auxiliary. CONSTITUTION:A sulfuric acid radical is filled in a cell storing a positive electrode black mix containing silver (II) oxide as a positive electrode main active material and lead dioxide as a conductive auxiliary. For example, a positive electrode black mix made of silver (II) oxide powder of 47wt%, silver ( I ) oxide powder of 47wt%, lead dioxide of 5wt%, and sodium sulfate of 1wt% is pressurized and molded at 5t/cm<2> to obtain a molded positive material black mix 1. Then, this black mix 1, an alkaline electrolyte, and a negative electrode 6 using amalgamated zinc as an active material, etc. are used to produce a button- type silver (II) oxide cell.
