titleOfInvention Novel sydnoneimine compound and its preparation
abstract NEW MATERIAL:The sydnoneimine compound of formula I (R 1 is morphopyrrolidino, morphopyridino or β-nicotinoylaminoethyl; R 2 is H or carboethoxy) or its acid addition salt. n EXAMPLE: 3-(β-nicotinoylaminoethyl)sydnoneimine dihydrochloride. n USE: It has vasodilating activity, and is useful as a hypotensor or an anti-stenocardia. n PROCESS: The compound of formula V (one of the compound of formula I ) is obtained by (1) reacting formaldehyde and a cyanogen compound with the amine of formula II, (2) treating the resultant aminonitrile of formula III with sodium nitrite in a mineral acid medium, (3) cyclizing the obtained nitrosaminonitrile of formula IV with a mineral acid, and if necessary, (4) converting the product to an acid addition salt. The reaction of the compound of formula V with the compound of formula VI (X is halogen) gives the compound of formula VII. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio
