PURPOSE:The titled cosmetic adjusting properly metabolic reactions in scalp tissus by the use of a small amount of it, capable of preventing occurrence of dandruff effectively, safe to the skin, containing trichlorocarbanilide and vitamin E acetate. CONSTITUTION:A cosmetic containing a combination of 3,4,4'-trichlorocarbanilide (TCC) showing preventing effect on dandruff at >=3wt% concentration and vitamin E acetate (VEA) showing preventing effect on dandruff at >=1wt% concentration. The cosmetic shows preventing effect on dandruff corresponding to that of zinc pyrithione (ZPT) with a small amount of >=0.1wt% TCC and >=0.03wt% VEA, and improves a problem of safety of the skin which occurs in the use of each compound alone or ZPT. |
