abstract PURPOSE:To produce easily a microcapsule contg. a liquid active material by dissolving a polymer and the liquid active material having limited solubility with the polymer in a solvent, spraying the soln. from a nozzle and evaporating the solvent. CONSTITUTION:A polymer such as polysulfone or the like as a film forming material and an active material which has limited solubility at an ordinary temp., is liquid at an ordinary temp. and has agricultural chemical activity, etc. are dissolved in an org. solvent, such as methylene chloride, which can dissolve these two materials and is more easily volatile than said active material. The soln. is sprayed in the form of micro liquid droplets from a nozzle, and is heated or evaporated according to need to evaporate said solvent from the liquid droplets. The microcapsule which is sealed with the liquid active material in the film of the above-mentioned polymer and can release said active material, via the film, at substantially a specified speed is obtd.
