titleOfInvention Remedy for facial paresthesia
abstract PURPOSE: To drug, containing ethyl aminobenzoate as a principal constituent, and useful for treating facial paresthesia caused by pyrethroid compounds. n CONSTITUTION: A remedy, containing ethyl aminobenzoate as a principal constituent, e.g. α-cyano-3-phenoxybenzyl-2-(4-chlorophenyl)isovalerate, and useful for treating facial paresthesia caused by pyrethroid compounds. The facial paresthesia indicates a transient abnormal facial sensation such as a sensation of smarting, crawling, pricking or burning in the face, particularly a part below the eyes, and is reported to occur in synthesizing research or formulating processes, etc. of the various pyrethroid compounds. The ethyl aminobenzoate exhibits a remarkable remedial effect on the above-mentioned symptoms. The remedy is generally used by application to the affected part, and the pharmaceutical form thereof is preferably an ointment. The content of the principal constituent in the drug is usually 1W5%. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio
