abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the titled polymer having improved heat resistance and mechanical strength simply, by subjecting a derivative prepared by replacing partially the end group of a polyether polyol with a para-aminobenzoic acid and a polyisocyanate to polyaddition reaction. n CONSTITUTION: (A) 1mol n-hydric polyoxyalkylene polyol having 400W10,000 molecular weight is reacted with (B) 0.125nWn mole para-aminobenzoic acid alkyl ester (preferably methyl or ethyl ester) to give a polyether polyol derivative containing a terminal amino group wherein the hydroxyl group of an n- hydric polyoxyalkylene polyol shown by the formula (n is 2W8; X is average value, positive number of 0.05nWn-1; A is n-hydric polyoxyalkylene polyol residue obtained by removing hydroxyl group from the component A) is replaced with the component B, and it is reacted with (C) a bi- or more valent polyisocyanate, to give the desired polymer. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio |
