titleOfInvention Test piece for measuring got activity
abstract PURPOSE: A test piece for measuring simply activity of aspartic acid aminotransferase, having improved precision, obtained by impregnating paper, etc. with L-cysteine sulfinic acid, 2-oxoglutaric acid, or oxalacetic acid, and a coupler. n CONSTITUTION: (A) L-cysteine sulfinic acid is blended with (B) 2-oxoglutaric acid or oxalacetic acid, and (C) a coupler (e.g., a solution containing phenazine methosulfate and Nitrotetrazolium Blue). This blended solution is impregnated into paper, cloth, etc., to give the desired test piece for measuring activity of GOT (aspartic acid aminotransferase or aspartic acid transaminase). A small amount of a specimen solution such as serum, urine, etc. containing COT is dropped on the test piece, it is allowed to stand at room temperature, and the time for the piece to color is measured, so that activity of GOT of the specimen solution can be measured. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio
