abstract | PURPOSE: The titled composition having improved adhesiveness to a conductive material without causing greasiness, obtained by blending an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and an ethylene-ethylacrylate coplymer with an ionomer resin. n CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. ethylene-vinyl acetate copoplymer and/or ethylene- ethyl acrylate coplymer is blended with 5W50 ionomer. The blend may be blended with a small amount of an antioxidant and a softening agent. To pack this composition into a raw wire of conductive material, it is extruded into a tape or ribbon, twisted with the raw wire, and subjected to compression creep by a deep draw dice, etc. so that it is packed into the twisted wire of conductive material. The composition has proper bond strength in the adhesiveness to the conductive material, is not released even if stress such as bending stress is applied to it, and it can provide sufficient watertightness. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio |
