abstract PURPOSE: To produce a molded article having improved water absorbing properties for a long period, by dispersing highly water-absorbing resin powder swelled with water into a curable liquid resin to give a mixture, curing it, molding it, evaporating water in the powder. n CONSTITUTION: Highly water-absorbing resin powder swelled with water is dispersed into a curable liquid resin to give a mixture, with is cured, molded, and water in the highly water-absorbing resin powder is evaporated during curing or after curing.
