PURPOSE: To produce a molded article having improved water absorbing properties for a long period, by dispersing highly water-absorbing resin powder swelled with water into a curable liquid resin to give a mixture, curing it, molding it, evaporating water in the powder. n CONSTITUTION: Highly water-absorbing resin powder swelled with water is dispersed into a curable liquid resin to give a mixture, with is cured, molded, and water in the highly water-absorbing resin powder is evaporated during curing or after curing. Water required to swell the resin powder is 20W150 times as much as the resin powder in a dry state. n USE: A building material for wall material, floor covering material, etc., and a material for containers apt to be easily damaged by excess drying or moisture (containers for preserving perishable foods, etc.). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio |
