abstract | PURPOSE: An agricultural and horticultural fungicide showing improved controlling effect on plant bilights caused by fungus belonging to the genus Botrytis, Fusarium, Helminthosporium, or Alternaria of agricultural and horticultural crops, containing frenolicin B as an active ingredient. n CONSTITUTION: Frenolicin B shown by the formula is used as an active ingredient of a fungicide for controlling plant blights caused by a fungus belonging to the genus (i) Botrytis, (ii) Fusarium, (iii) Helminthosporium, or (iv) Alternaria, such as (i) black spot of pears, alternaria blotch of apples, (ii) grey mold of vegetables such as cucumbers, egg-plants, strawberries, etc., (iii) damping-off of rice plant, Fusarium wilt of cucumbers, wilt of tomatoes, and (iv) helminthosporium leaf spot, stem rot, etc. of rice plant, to provide improved controlling effect on the plant blights. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio |
