abstract PURPOSE: To provide a flame-retardant resin compsn. having an excellent dripping inhibiting property during combustion, consisting of polypropylene, an inorg. filler, an org. halide flame retarder, a styrene/butadiene rubber and a specified glow time shortening agent. n CONSTITUTION: 3W20wt% styrene/butadiene rubber (having a soln. viscosity of pref. 500W5,000cp) and 1W10wt% glow time shortening agent such as triphenylphosphine are blended with 100wt% compsn. consisting of 30W80wt% polypropylene, 20W70wt% inorg. filler having an average particle size of 1W10μ, such as talc, and 5W30wt% org. halide flame retarder such as decabromodiphenyl oxide to obtain the desired flame retardant resin compsn.
