abstract PURPOSE: A foaming bathing agent stable even by long-term preservation, being dissolved easily when added to a bath, obtained by blending a composition containing a carbonate and an organic acid with magnesium oxide and/or sodium aluminate as a stabilizer. n CONSTITUTION: A foaming bathing composition containing 5W80wt%, preferably 10W50wt% carbonate (preferably sodium hydrogencarbonate, or sodium carbonate) based on the weight of total composition and 30W150wt% organic acid (e.g., citric acid, succinic acid) based on the carbonate calculated as sodium hydrogencarbonate is blended with 0.5W15wt%, preferably 0.5W10wt% magnesium oxide and/or sodium aluminate based on the weight of the total composition. When a blending amount of the carbonate and the organic acid is adjusted, and warm water in a bath is made weakly acidic, effect of good circulation of blood caused by vasodilating action besides foaming effect by carbon dioxide gas is obtained. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio
