titleOfInvention Polyamide composition
abstract PURPOSE: To prepare the titled composition having excellent rigidity, impact resistance and salt water resistance, by compounding a polyamide with a specific modified ethylene.α-olefin copolymer and a neutralized ethylene.unsaturated monocarboxylic acid copolymer. n CONSTITUTION: The objective composition is prepared by melting and mixing (A) a polyamide with (B) a modified copolymer obtained by the graft polymerization of 0.05W10pts.wt., preferably 0.08W5pts.wt. of an unsaturated dicarboxylic acid (e.g. maleic acid, nadic acid, etc.) or its derivative to 100pts.wt. of a copolymer composed of 40W93mol% of ethylene and 60W7mol% of an α-olefin and having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.5W4dl/g in decaline at 135°C and (C) a neutralized copolymer having an MFR (190°C) of 0.1W1,000g/10min and obtained by neutralizing ≥5mol% of the carboxyl group of a copolymer composed of ethylene and 1W25mol% of an α,β-unsaturated monocarboxylic acid (e.g. acrylic acid). The amounts of the components (B) and (C) are 1W30pts.wt. and 2W40pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of the component (A), respectively. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio
