titleOfInvention Manufacture of formed polyester
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a formed polyester, without causing the lowering of various mechanical properties, suppressing the lowering of the polymerization degree, by adding an additive having ester-forming functional group and a specific compound to a linear saturated polyester, and melting and forming the resin composition. n CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. of an essentially linear and saturated polyester composed of an acid component such as terephthalic acid and a glycol component such as ethylene glycol, is added with 0.05W50pts.wt. of an additive having ester-forming functional group, e.g. mono- or polybasic carboxylic acid such as caprylic acid, a polyhydric alcohol such as glycerol, etc., and then with 0.05W 20pts.wt. of bisoxazoline, bisoxazolone or bisbenzoxazinone of formula I , II and III(X 1 WX 4 are organic group having the ring structure of formula IVWVI; D 1 and D 2 are bivalent organic group; R 1 and R 2 are univalent organic group; A is tetravalent aromatic group; l and m are 0 or 1). The obtained composition is molten and formed to obtain the objective formed polyester. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio
