titleOfInvention Preparation of polydiacetylene thin film
abstract PURPOSE: To prepare the titled thin film polymer utilizable easily as an electronic element and useful as an electrically conductive material, etc., by applying a monomer thin film to a substrate by the spraying process or spinner process of a solution or suspension of a diacetylene compound, and polymerizing the applied monomer thin film. n CONSTITUTION: A solution or suspension of a diacetylene compound (e.g. 2,4- hexadiynediol bisphenylurethane) is applied to a substrate such as a glass plate, etc. by spraying process or spinner process, and the obtained diacetylene monomer thin film is polymerized, e.g. by γ-ray irradiation to obtain a polydiacetylene film having metallic luster. The high electro-conductivity of the polymer thin film can be ascertained by metallizing the surface with gold, and measuring the electro-conductivity of the film. It is preferable to add a third component as a dopant in the application of the diacetylene monomer thin film. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio
