titleOfInvention | Preparation of fluorescent material |
abstract | PURPOSE: To provide a fluorescent material having stable luminance and giving an extremely stable fluorescent lamp, by using SiO 2 powder containing crystallization water and attached water as an SiO 2 source of a rare earth green light- emitting fluorescent material activated with Ce and Tb. n CONSTITUTION: The objective fluorescent material can be prepared by using SiO 2 .xH 2 O (x>0) as an SiO 2 source of a rare earth green light-emitting fluorescent material of formula (Re is Y, La or Gd; A is Li, Na, K, Rb, or Cs; a>0; b>0; c>0; 0<a+b+3c<1; 5×10 -2 ≥c≥1×10 -5 ; m>0; n>0) activated with Ce and Tb. The water-content of the SiO 2 is preferably ≥1wt%. n USE: A fluorescent lamp for the light source of a copying machine. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio |
