abstract | PURPOSE: To provide a durable bladder resistant to the degradation caused by a vulcanization agent for the vulcanization with an inert gas, and containing butyl rubber and a halogenated butyl rubber as rubber components. n CONSTITUTION: A rubber composition composed of 100pts.wt. of rubber components consisting of 90W98pts.wt. of butyl rubber and 10W2pts.wt. of a halogenated butyl rubber and optionally 20W80pts.wt. of a reinforcing filler and 0.5W 8pts.wt. of zinc oxide, is used as a bladder for the vulcanization of pneumatic tires using an inert gas as a part of the internal pressure source.
