PURPOSE: To obtain a laminate with high heat resistance and processability, by incorporating a thermosetting resin with a product formed by reaction of a halogenated dihydroxyl compound with a halogenated monoglycidyl ether followed by a diglycidyl ether. n CONSTITUTION: The objective laminate can be obtained by incorporating a thermosetting resin such as phenolic resin with a product formed by first carrying out a reaction between (A) a dihydroxyl compound of formula I (X is halogen; R 1 is alklylene, etc.; m and n are each 1W2) [e.g., bis (4-hydroxy-2-bromophenyl) methane] and (B) a compound of formula II (X is halogen; R 2 is H, or 1W4C alkyl; l is 1W3) (e.g., monochlorophenyl monoglycidyl ether) in a molar ratio (A)/(B) of 1/1W3, followed by further reaction of (C) a bisphenol-type epoxy resin of formula III (X is halogen; R 3 is alkylene set.; Q is 1W4; o and p are each zeroW2. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio |
