titleOfInvention Vinyl chloride resin composition
abstract PURPOSE: A vinyl chloride resin composition having improved antistatic and antifogging properties, prepared by adding a polyether-grafted vinyl chloride resin, obtained by reacting a cyclic ether with vinyl chloride resin, to a vinyl chloride resin. n CONSTITUTION: To a vinyl chloride resin is added at least 0.5wt% poly ether- grafted vinyl chloride resin obtained by reacting a cyclic ether with a vinyl chloride resin and then removing unreacted cyclic ether. After a vinyl chloride resin is dissolved in solvent which dissolves the cyclic ether compound or vinyl chloride resin and the solution is graft-polymerized by using a catalyst such as aluminum chloride or an organoaluminum compound, the vinyl chloride resin is graft-polymerized with the cyclic ether at below 70°C in the presence of a Ziegler catalyst of the formula. Examples of the cyclic ethers include ethylene oxide and propylene oxide. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio
