titleOfInvention Selectively permeable hollow fiber of cellulose ester and its production
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a hollow fiber having a prescribed coefft. of ultrafiltration, (KUFR), and a rate of inhibiting permeation of plasmaprotein and plasma albumin by melt-spinning a mixture contg. prescribed ratios of cellulose ester, polhydric alcohol and glycerol deriv. n CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. cellulose ester and 70W200pts.wt. total of water soluble polyhydric alcohol having a plastifiying effect and a glycerol deriv. are mixed. The mixture melt-spun to a hollow shape. whereafter the fiber is subjected to an extraction treatment at 80W99°C by an aq. soln. The hollow fiber obtd. by the above-mentioned method has the performance 8W40ml/m 2 mmHg.hr KUFR, ≥88% rate of inhibiting permeation of plasmaprotein and ≥90% rate of inhibiting permeation of plasma alubmin. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio
