abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a pet food having extremely excellent palatability, by adding boiled antarctic krill to the raw material of a pet food having high water- content. n CONSTITUTION: The main raw material of a pet food, e.g. cattle meat, fish meat, etc. is cut to proper sizes or minced, and seasoned under boiling. The seasoned meat is added with 3W30wt%, especially 10W20wt% of boiled antarctic krill optionally together with vitamins, minerals, spices and starches to obtain the objective pet food, e.g. canned pet food.
