titleOfInvention Inorganic pigment dispersant
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the titled dispersant capable of obtaining low viscosity even in high concn., by mixing and reacting a specific unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer, a specific (meth)acrylic ester monomer and a monomer copolymerizable with both monomers. n CONSTITUTION: One kind or more monomer selected from an unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer I shown by formula I (e.g., acrylic acid), one kind or more monomer selected from a (meth)acrylic ester monomer II shown by formula II[e.g., 3-(meth)acryloxy-1, 2-dihydroxypropane] and a monomer III copolymerizable with said monomers (e.g., styrene) are used in a ratio of 10W99.5mol% monomer I , 0.5W90mol% monomer II and 0W40mol% monomer III (wherein the sum of monomers I , II, III is 100mol%) and reacted to obtain a copolymer and an inorg. pigment dispersant based on said copolymer is prepared. This dispersant can obtain low viscosity even in high concn. and is excellent in dispersion stability. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio
