abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a casting material for sealing excellent in adhesion to metals, freed from formation of contact point contamination, rapidly curable and freed from a risk of corroding urethane-enameld wire, by mixing an epoxy resin with a mercaptan-base curing agent and a tert.amine curing agent. n CONSTITUTION: An epoxy resin is mixed with a mercaptan-base curing agent and a tert.amine cure accelerator. Examples of the curing agents include thioglycolic acid esters such as thioglycolate of pentaerythritol, trimethylolpropane, and glycerin, especially polyfunctional esters. The cure accelerators include benzyldimethylamine and trimethylamine.
