NEW MATERIAL:The bisbenzofuran derivative of formula I (R 1 is H or halogen; R 2 and R 3 are alkyl or together with N form pyrrolidino, piperidino or morpholino; Y is CO, CH 2 , or CHOH; m is 1W3; n is 1 or 2; provided that R 1 and the substituted aminoalkyloxy are substituted at arbitrary sites in 4,5,6 and 7 sites of the benzofuran ring), its N-oxide and their acid addition salt. n EXAMPLE: Bis(6-β-dimethylaminoethoxy-2-benzofuranyl)ketone. n USE: A drug having antiviral, interferon-inducing and antitumor activites. n PREPARATION: The compound of formula I is prepared by condensing the bisbenzofuran derivative of formula II with the substituted aminoalkyl halide of formula III (X is halogen) or its hydrochloride. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio |
