titleOfInvention | Heat-resistant insulating paint |
abstract | PURPOSE: To provide a heat-resistant insulating paint suitable for use in the production of insulated wires having high heat resistance, by decomposing a fully arom. polyester resin with trihydric or polyhydric alcohol and then dissolving it in a phenolic solvent. n CONSTITUTION: 0.05W05mol of a trihydric or polyhydric alcohol such as tris (2- hydroxyethyl) isocyanurate is added to a fully arom. polyester resin having an average ester equivalent of 1gram equivalent, such as a resin composed of an arom. halide (e.g. phthaloyl chloride) and a polyhydric arom. alcohol (e.g. 4,4'- dihydroxydiphenyl ether) to decompose the resin with the alcohol. The titled heat- resistant insulating paint is obtd. by dissolving the alcoholysis product in a phenolic solvent. This paint is excellent in heat resistance in particular and suitable for use in forming a coating film for insulated wires. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio |
