titleOfInvention Dispersing agent for metallic oxide powder of soft ferrite material
abstract PURPOSE: To raise concn. of a slurry of the metallic oxide powder of a soft ferrite material, by incorporating an ammonium salt of a copolymer of maleic acid and acrylic acid. n CONSTITUTION: Acrylic acid and maleic acid are copolymerized in an aq. medium in the presence of persulfate catalyst, and neutralized with an aq. soln. of ammonia or alkanolamine, such as ethanolamine or diethanolamine to obtain a copolymer having 500W3,000 average mol.wt. A preferable molar ratio of said monomers is maleic acid/acrylic acid =3:100W200:100. In addition, methacrylic acid may be used in place of acrylic acid. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio
