abstract PURPOSE: To obtain double-layered glass which contains a stretched functional film and has excellent appearance, etc. by fixing the stretched functional film to the 1st glass plate then placing the 2nd glass plate opposite thereto and sealing the peripheral part. n CONSTITUTION: A functional film 2 such as a film provided with transparent and conductive functions or a film provided with light selective and transmittable functions is prepd. by a method of providing a thin film composed of indium oxide and tin oxide on the surface or the like. Such film 2 is biaxially stretched 0.02W1% and while the film is kept stretched, the film is fixed by means of an adhesive agent 4 to a jig 3 fixed preliminarily to the 1st glass plate 1. Then the 2nd glass plate 1' is disposed on the film 2 by means of a jig 3' and an adhesive agent 4' and the peripheral parts of the plates 1, 1' are sealed.
